One bullet took his legs, one bullet took her life.
One bullet full of pain, one bullet full of strife.
One bullet in the head, one bullet in the heart.
One bullet made of lead, one bullet tears apart.
One bullet full of fear, one bullet full of hate.
One bullet full of tears, one bullet, one fate.

Black and White,
Wrong or Right?
Truth defies the Lies,
Darkness in the Light.
Together or Apart?
Ignorant or Smart?

to Finish what you Start.
Live till you Die,
Crawl before you Fly.
Laugh until you Cry,
a Smile or a Sigh...
One or None,
Old and Young.
To Rise and to Fall,
Assemble then Dissolve.
Yes, No,

Stop and Go,
Ebb and Flow.
Hot or Cold?
Meek or Bold?
Crazy or Sane?
Wild or Tame?
Circles and Squares,
Biased or Fair?
Resistance or Submission?
Unity or Division?
Opposites Attract,
Fiction or Fact?
To Share or to Hoard?
The Shield or the Sword?
I shed a tear for soldiers,
sacrificed to suffer the endless pain of war.
I shed a tear for terrorists,
driven to the edge by merciless blood and gore.
I shed a tear for mothers,
who would die to protect their young.
I shed a tear for fathers,
ready to kill to avenge their sons.
I shed a tear for children,
waking up to sounds of screaming gunfire.
I shed a tear for babies,
leaking lifeblood from shrapnel wounds moments before they expire.
I shed a tear for the bullet,
for it knows not that its sole purpose is to tear and shred.
I shed a tear for the bombs,
falling onto hearts and minds while piling up the dead.
I shed a tear f
To kill or not to kill, that is the question
If I will he surely will, for it is our shared profession
Depression meets repression and takes the form of aggression
His expression of oppression through the eyes of his own discretion
My family or his, which has more worth?
Who has rights to this earth, to defend their place of birth?
My life or his, self-preservation or martyrdoms bliss?
A soldiers heart is amiss, for his innocence still exists
I saw the tears in your eyes
as you said your goodbyes
to wives and mothers,
sisters and little brothers

while the chaplain reads a prayer to save us all from sin.
Now we begin on this adventure that we all signed up to see,
fighting for our country, here to be all we can be.
Freedom is the cause though the price could be our lives,
some will pay the greatest cost but others will survive.
To find a nation hypnotized by glowing T.V. screens,
cheering on the blood and gore not knowing what it means.
For none will know the pain until they witness it firsthand
and finally agree this war needs to quickly se
Young at heart and strong in will
with a restless spirit they cannot kill.
Your struggle is a symbol of the pain that we all feel,
your sacrifice a testament to prove that Love is real.
The fire in your soul burns through the wounds of war
to remind us of the mindlessness of what we're fighting for.
A hero with no mask because he doesn't need to hide,
a warrior of Truth shining his Light so far and wide.
Speaking Peace from a pedestal without a hint of fear,
telling all the world exactly what they need to hear.
We believe that we will see an end to all this hate,
if we stand together we can create our own fate.
I'm not your plastic army man,
I'm not your toy to play with in the sand.
You don't own me or my soul,
I've broken free to grow and be whole.
I'm not your government issue been abused,
or a broken weapon to be misused.
I am my own man and I don't need your game,
this lion's still got teeth and he will not be tamed.
Take your bullets and your guns, I don't need em to feel safe,
I'm not gonna turn and run, I don't need to duck and strafe.
Take your rage and fury, I don't need it anymore,
I've forgotten what I ever thought I would have used it for.
Now I am before you, here to make my final stand,
your fear cannot control me, I am n

I once was lost, but now I am found.
You picked my soul up off the ground and turned my whole life around.
Just when everything seemed like it was falling apart,
You opened my eyes and touched my heart.
Looked to the skies above,
Felt this thing called love.
Never knew it was there or how good it could feel,
What is this thing I don't know how could it be real?
Lost deep within your beautifully serene eyes,
Glowing radiantly like the perfect sunrise.
An amazing smile I could never forget,
Meeting you is something I will never regret.
Ecstasy I found in your loving arms,
I knew that when you held me I could never be harmed.
Now I
TWELVE. That's all it takes.
The choice between Life or For Life.
While ONE awaits his destiny,
TWELVE are free to live.
The choice is so powerful,
and so many don't understand this concept.
But there are few who understand it. Fear it.
Life or For Life. Who has the right to decide?
For Life. Just think about it.
ONE will never leave.
He will never know what its like to be free.
What if he is innocent..
Do TWELVE really understand Life or For Life?
They all say Guilty As Hell,
and go home. Back to their lives.
But one dies on the inside. But who cares? he is a worthless scum to them.
What most don't understand is a simple con
Why do we have soldiers going AWOL from the military? Is it because they feel they don't have any other way out of fighting a war they don't believe in? But the government doesn't care, they just label them as cowards. People have called me a coward, told me I'm just afraid to die. But I would die for any one of my military brothers and sisters because I know that they're doing what they feel is right. In the words of the immortal Mahatma Gandhi "In this cause, I too am prepared to die. There is no cause in which I am prepared to kill" It is tragic that these young men and women are sacrificed for the greed of our so called leaders, these m

Sometimes I get so wrapped up in all the pain, misery, and tragedy that has fallen upon our earth that I forget to imagine the world I am fighting to create. Sometimes I feel like all my sacrifices and hardships will only be in vain, then I remember that I'm not the only one putting it all on the line for a better future. Sometimes I can't help but think how much easier it would be if I just fell asleep again, returned to the peace that lies in my television screen. But I cannot turn my back on a world in desperate need of a hero, and though my actions are her
I need to rant, so prepare yourself...
Many of you know that I've been moving through a conscientious objection with the U.S. military, and up until this point I've been very sad and scared about the whole thing. Now I've moved past the point of feeling sorry for myself to the point of outrage. I will not put up with this disgusting fear, this ridiculous apathy. I'm making my stand, and in the words of the prophetic Tom Petty 'no I won't back down'.
I've just allied myself with the IVAW (Iraq Veterans Against the War) and they are doing a lot to help me move through this process. I joined the military because I wanted to defend my country,
Hey are you going to the Dark sky's? Danya and I will be there. Should be fun. Camping for three day's/night's I'll look a mess but that's all part of the fun. You and your girl should try to make it.
